Fall 2015 Midwest Economics Theory and International Trade Meetings

The Fall 2015 Midwest Economic Theory and International Trade Meetings will be hosted by the Department of Economics, Pennsylvania State University at University, PA, October 23-25, 2015. The meetings, which have a long tradition, dating from the 1970's, are held twice yearly at various Midwest university campuses.

Midwest Economics Theory and International Trade Meetings

October 23-25, 2015

 

 

The Fall 2015 Midwest Economic Theory and International Trade Meetings will be held October 23rd through 25th at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania. These semi-annual meetings have rotated among Midwest universities since the 1970s, drawing internationally from the community of micro theorists and trade economists. Attendance is open and there is no registration fee; travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of attendees. The Penn State University Economics Department will host a conference banquet at the Nittany Lion Inn on Friday, October 23rd.

Papers submitted for the International Trade sessions will be evaluated by a scientific committee coordinated by Raymond Riezman (University of Iowa, e-mail: raymond-riezman@uiowa.edu); submissions for the Economic Theory sessions will be evaluated by a scientific committee coordinated by Kalyan Chatterjee (Penn State University, e-mail: kchatterjee@psu.edu).  All submissions are handled through Conference Maker, as detailed below.

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Nittany Lion Inn. Please email Tammy Cecil txc31@psu.edu by September 22, 2015  to confirm attendance and receive a reservation number.

The deadline for submission is August 30, 2015, 11:59 PM Eastern Time. There is no submission fee.
