SUPPLEMENTAL APPLICATION FOR THE PH.D PROGRAM: FALL 2008
Graduate Study in Economics



If you are applying for financial aid, then your completed application should reach us by January 15.
If you are not applying for financial aid, then the deadline is April 30.

Your application will not be considered until the following have been received: (1) The graduate School Application, (2) two copies of official transcript(s) of your college record to date, (3) at least three letters of recommendation, and (4) official results of you GRE scores. In addition, all international applicants whose first language is not English or who have not received baccalaureate or master's degrees from an institution in which the language of instruction is English must take the TOEFL and submit the results. All information received will be considered confidential.

This application, the letters of recommendation, two copies of official transcripts, and official GRE and TOEFL results should be sent to the Graduate Officer, Department of Economics, 604 Kern Building, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania 16802. The Graduate School application and fee should be sent to Graduate Enrollment Services, 114 Kern Building, University Park, Pennsylvania 16802.
