Applied Micro
Researchers in the Applied Micro Group develop structural empirical models of firm and consumer behavior and market interactions.

The interests of the econometrics group span the interests of the profession and cover a wide range of areas in both micro- and macroeconometrics.

The faculty in macroeconomics at Penn State engage in a wide variety of research. Among the topics studied are labor, household finance, money, and optimal taxation.

The Microeconomic Theory group includes eight faculty members and two faculty emeriti. Members of this group work on mechanism design, game theory, decision theory, political economy, networks, matching, and behavioral economics.
