EasyReg Basic 2000
Upon request, a 16 bit (stripped down) version of EasyReg 2000
(called EasyReg Basic 2000) has
been put back on the web. However, EasyReg International is much better, and
does much more. In particular, EasyReg Basic 2000 does not support long file names, requires
to adjust Windows to the American setting, is not resizable, and has not been updated since
October 8, 2001.
This version differs from EasyReg 2000 (32 bit) with respect to the following:

Structural VAR innovation response analysis in module
VAR.EXE has been disabled, due to bugs (which have been repaired in the
32 bit version only). However, non-structural VAR innovation response analysis
still works fine.

The "Help!" menus have been removed.

The "WWW" menus have been removed.

The guided tours have been removed.
-
Nonlinear least squares, nonparametric density estimation, and nonparametric regression analysis have been removed.
-
Most of the "Bierens stuff" has been removed, except for my nonparametric cointegration test, and my unit root and stationarity tests.

EasyReg Basic 2000 comes in the form
of three self-extracting WinZip files, each less than 1.44 MB in size:

ER16D03.EXE
Download and run these three files.
Then the EasyReg Basic 2000 files will be extracted in default folder c:\EasyReg.
Next, create a shortcut to c:\EasyReg\EasyReg.exe.
