Comparative Analysis of Enterprise Data (CAED) Conference
The 18th CAED Conference will be held at The Pennsylvania State University on May 17-19, 2024.
The conference provides a venue for research using firm and plant-level data on a wide range of topics, disciplines and countries. It is unique meeting place for producers and users of these data including statisticians, survey methodologists, economists, sociologists, and other social scientists working in academic institutions and statistical agencies. It also provides an opportunity for policymakers to interact with researchers and learn about the newest results in their fields.
The conference is *in person only* and there will not be any zoom or internet presentations.

The conference will feature two keynote speakers. Peter Schott, Yale School of Management, will speak on “Trade Liberalization and Labor-Market Outcomes,” and William Kerr, Harvard Business School, will speak on “Immigration, Innovation, and Firm Dynamics.”

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
The registration fee for the conference is $150. It will include lunch and coffee breaks each day and a conference dinner one evening.
Registration for all presenters with accepted papers must be completed by May 1 or the paper will be withdrawn from the conference.

CONFERENCE VENUE and HOTEL RESERVATION
The venue for the conference is The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The Pennsylvania State University is located in State College, Pennsylvania. We are serviced by the State College Regional Airport (SCE) with directs flights from Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Newark NJ (EWR), and Philadelphia (PHL).
State College is also within driving distance of some major east coast airports. They are:
- Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). 155 miles, approximately 3 hours via US-22 and I-99.
- Washington Dulles Airport (IAD). 208 miles, approximately 3.5 hours via VA-267, US-15, I-70, I-76, and I-99.
- Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). 200 miles, approximately hours 3.25 hours via I-76 and US-322.
- Baltimore International Airport (BWI). 180 miles, approximately 3 hours via I-695, I-83 and US-322.
