What is CARE?
The Career in Academic Research in Economics (CARE) Program is designed for high-achieving undergraduate students who want to pursue a Ph.D. in Economics and become an opinion leader in the field. Graduate training in economics can offer excellent career opportunities regardless of whether you want to be an academic researcher, a public policy maker, or a professional consultant. However, it is a competitive profession. Gaining admission to top graduate programs requires substantial preparation and dedication, and successfully completing a degree requires even more. The CARE Program helps undergraduate students who want to steer their life in this direction.
The Department of Economics also offers a Joint Undergraduate-MA Program.
